philosophy field of flowers

Besides beauty products, gardening is another of my passions. I love this time of year when everything is in full bloom and the air is lightly scented with heavenly floral fragrances.

That could be why the packaging of philosophy field of flowers ultra-rich shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath ($16 for 16 ounces) called my name when I noticed it in my mom’s shower during a visit with my parents last week. Lucky for me I happened to be staying the night and could indulge in a little sampling during my shower the next morning.

I must admit that I was a bit scared when I took a whiff of the product in the bottle. It was floral alright, but in a way that screamed “old lady” more than summer floral. Ever adventurous, I applied it anyway and was pleasantly surprised at the difference between the scent in the bottle and the scent on my skin. I exited the shower kissed by the fresh, light smell of aromatic flowers in bloom.

I must also mention the lovely lather this product offers. It’s something I’ve come to know and love about philosophy bath products. While I did not attempt to use the product as a shampoo or a bubble bath, I can see where this quality would make it equally luxurious when serving either of those purposes.
